We've also seen flowers print and even geomatric/ kaleidoscope prints especially in for the summer time, but for the 2012 Spring/Summer season, Dolce & Gabanna came with this orginal idea to print vegetable on their dresses. Yes as in chilli hot peppers, onions and tomatoes. The vegetable print dresses is an example of this new hot trend that has taken over Hollywood and suitable for the most daring fashion diva out there. Not just veggies are printed now on suits, even horses, birds, and fishes prints were spotted during Movie Premiers and on celebrities who attended fashion shows and so on. So it's safe to say that many designers and department stores such as Miu Miu and ASOS has adopted this new trend ever since. Look what I've found :)

Looking through a few photos online from Emily B (Reality TV star of Love & Hip Hop shown at VH1 and stylist, for those in the unknown) I bumbed into this one. It immediately came to my attention that she is wearing a maxi dress with the same Aztec print and colors as the Yellow/Blue Contrast Tribal dress we have available at Pure. The bottom part of the dress we have is actually body hugging meaning that it fits tightly to your hips/legs which makes it so sexy and a favorite material for many. Trust me it doesn't fit the model like it would fit us :-D and what I like about this outfit is that it's at the same time a casual look (while the upper part of the dress is loose fitted and an open-back,..mmm quite sexy).

Look who's back...!

Another hot trend this 2012 Summer/Spring season beside colored pants, peter pan collars, colorblocking with neons, and cropped tops is the tribal print pattern. This trend is not unfamiliar for fashion followers as these have been seen in and out the runway for a few years now. They come in zig zag patterns or as pyramid inspired patterns. Tribal "Aztec Indian" inspired prints are earthy-looking and the best part of it is that these are wearable with any colored shoes and bags as long as it fits within the colored spectrum of the outfit. The prints come in black and white or in color. If you don't own any tribal printed outfits yet and you still want to be stylish while on a budget, you may want to opt for tribal print earrings combined with wooden bangles instead. Another alternative is to purchase a tribal scarf or shoes. Yes! Tribal printed shoes are also available nowadays. As mentioned in previous posts, print on print must be put finely together and a lot of people have a hard time doing so. Try to stay within those earthy colors that look natural on your skin (hint: nudes, beige, clover green) and that you can never go wrong with. Nevertheless, this look is surely a must have this season!

Trend Watch: Colored pants available for Pre-order

Tired of the classic blue jean? Why don't add a bold of color to your wardrobe this season with colored pants. These pants have been spotted on the Spring/Summer runways like in the 2012 MB FW by BCBG show and on celebrities such as on the Kardashian sisters, Hayden Penettiere, Sarah Jessica Parker and have become a fashion trend for 2012 ever since. Colored pants are fun, playful and bright but if this look is too intimidating for you, you may want to go for more pastel colors for a softer look or wide leg colored pant instead of the pencil colored pants (which are in turn more youthful looking, but then again who doesn't want to look young?). But if you are somewhat like me, Go overboard with it! Don't stop this trend, add another colored purse, and shoes to it. This trend can be used during daytime and at night. To wear this during the day, we suggest colored pants paired with a neutral colored racer tank top for a more laid back look. To wear this trend during night time simply add a printed chiffon blouse to complete a romantic look. Flower chiffon prints /canvas blouses/ sequin tops are highly suggested for the night look, if you don't have one wear it with a see through blouse with a nude or black bra underneath and you'll be completely in style....seeing that nudes and see throughs are also in for the season. Another suggestion is to wear a cropped blazer on top and you'll be as good as new!

All over Houndstooth dress: Inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo

Houndstooth print seems to be in and out of style over and over again. We've seen it all, in different shapes and styles. Houndstooth purses, shoes, clutches, and even furniture as the one seen in picture below with K.K. This classic print screams loudness but yet it is classy and sophisticated. I myself have a houndstooth skirt and clutch bag which I use for special occasions only such as for x-mas dinner parties or anytime during holiday season. Somehow, everybody seems to notice me when I enter the room wearing either one of these items. A houndstooth piece surely will let the crowd know that you are around. It is loud, contrasting and fun to wear from time to time.  You can add bold colors to it or simply pair it with classic black pump shoes with red platforms. You just got to love 'em all!

I have been seeing stars such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adrienne Bailon, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian in the media rocking Salvatore Ferragamo's houndstooth collection off the runway which I absolutely adore. Of course, if you would like a look for MUCH  MUCH  less, why not dare to try this all over houndstooth print dress available at Pure.? It features a one shoulder strap, rushed sides, comes in black and white as seen in the picture, it stretches as it's made out of 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex which helps it fit tightly to any shape. And pleaseee, don't be fool by the pictures, it doesn't really give the dress its justice! I've seen it on my clientele and we've all been in shock when dress is worn by people with curves.
